i had just read a fic from ff.net. and frankly, it sux. But woe to the author. for she thinks that she's so great, everyone should bow down to her. i mean she was going around criticising people, flaming them and sending them hurting reviews etc. can't she be more tactful? if their english wasn't good enough for you then just tell them kindly instead of just ranting off about how great you are and how they should not post fics on the net. why can't people be encouraging? i was really pissed off when i read some of the reviews or rather 'flames' that she had sent to others. by others, i also meant people or writers who are much younger then her and definitely younger then me. she had no rights in sending criticisims in the form of 'reviews' which in actual facts are flames to people that young. by doing that, not only is she not being encouraging, she might be causing that awfully young writer to actually want to give up and to stop writing and thus, hindering them from being able to improve. not to mention, your arrogance might have cause them permant damage. they might even go to the extent of restraining themselves from expressing what they felt. the one and only time they had dared to/pluck up their courage to post a fic, expressing their views and you had to criticise them. constructive criticism is always appreciated but you should tell it to them in a nice way. they are young and they don't know any better. all the more you should explain to them nicely and not to just dump everything onto them, adding insults onto their wounds in the process.. it is just plain childish. and you claims to be in studying in university. i can't really tell that from the way you flame people. grow up!! so what if your english is good? no one is perfect. you may be good in english but i bet you sux in other things too. and how would you feel if others criticise you on that? it'll also make you feel worthless and useless, am i right? i hope that people will learn to think about others once in a while instead of always thinking about themselves.
