I stood there watching you,
Looking at you smiling.
But that smile is not for me,
It's for some girl call Sally.

We got to know each other by chance,
You came over to talk to me.
The more we talk , the more I realised..
I am falling in love with you.

You bought me present,
I was overjoyed.
You cared for me when I'm sick,
I felt so touched.
Then I realise, You're like that with everyone,
I cried.

I tried not to think about you,
But I keep seeing you everywhere.
I acted like I don't care,
But I truely care.

How I wish you would care for me like I do for you,
To notice when I'm happy, sad or angry.
You were there when I had problems,
You lent me your shoulder when I cry.

I really want to forget you,
But I can't.
Not with the way you're treating me,
So tenderly and lovingly.

So, I did the only thing I could do,
I watched over you from far.
As a friend only,
To comfort you.

For I know I can only wish...
